Remember the cupcake craze of the early 2010's? That was pretty insane. Will this be the next big thing?

Of all places I was in Oakland, California, the other day. Just a quick visit, flew down, did a thing, flew right back.

They had a shopping area cross from the hotel. The type of place that had a Trader Joe's, a few clothing stores, some place that sold furniture, a local sandwich shop... stuff like that.

One thing that stood out to me was this quaint little cute bakery-type place.

Okay, let's be honest, it was literally on the other side of the parking lot and though my eyesight isn't great I could read the word cake as if it was in 3D yelling at me.

Well, I had to at least have a look.

I do love a pun. Any place that's a play on words is always gonna be a win in my book and this place called Nothing Bundt Cakes was just that. They had nothing but bundt cakes.

And they have them of different sizes, too!

Small ones, bigger ones to share, they had wedding bundt cakes as needed for special orders. What a fun store!

I lamented that we didn't have them where I live. As it turns out, they're kinda everywhere.

I mean, not literally everywhere but it's kind of like a Crumbl Cookies. They have them in a lot of places but we didn't get ours until a couple of years ago.

On that note, how long will it be before we get a Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Yakima?

I didn't even think we had them in Washington State and, as it turns out, not only do we, but we even have one in Tri-Cities and a couple in Spokane. Definitely stopping by there sometime when I'm in those areas next time.

Here's hoping we get one in Yakima sometime soon. Such a fun idea.
