I remember slang words that we used "back in the day" and they were way cooler than the slang words that are used today. I was standing in line at Costco the other day and two teenagers were talking to each other. They actually weren't looking at each other, they were looking down at their phones the entire time. But the slang words they used were kind of silly.  They said the word "goals" at least three times. At first, I thought they were striving for excellence. After I read this article from the USA today, I realize that it meant something a little different. It all makes sense now. Kind of.

Whatever happened to words like "groovy" or "rad?" Those slang terms are much cooler than "turnt" or "goals."
