A couple of weeks ago, I commented on a Facebook topic on KIMA-TV's page regarding getting vaccinated for influenza.  I was pretty cavalier, stating that I had NEVER gotten inoculated and have NEVER had the flu, relying only on my body's own natural defenses and immune system to help ward off sickness.

I have caught my kids cold, which I call the "kid crud". They seem to get over it quickly, while mine hangs on for dear life and lasts for a week or more! As a busy mom of four I really don't have the luxury to be sick for a long period of time...
