Jayleigh Ann & The Lost Boys open tonight's get-together on historic North Front Street -- the next-to-last installment of this year's Downtown Summer Nights.
Downtown Summer Nights, approaching its seventh year as one of Yakima's signature community events, has unveiled the musical line-up for the 2019 10-week concert series.
Since its inception in 2013, the Downtown Summer Nights concert series has done nothing but get more popular each year. This Thursday night marks the kickoff the sixth season of the wildly successful event.
The first-ever Yakima Taco Fest to be held in September and will feature over a dozen street taco vendors from the area as well as local brews, wines, ciders and spirits.
It's still summer. It's still downtown. But the nights are dwindling.
With just three more Downtown Summer Nights concerts left, we're appreciating them all the more! And tonight (Aug. 4) brings the awesome sounds of Snug Harbor and Yakima Valley favorite Camille Bloom.
Downtown Summer Nights is going to be the best night ever. Not to mention that the weather in Yakima will be amazing! The event is free, but, the band is going to rock our whole city! Too Slim & The Taildraggers will be on stage bringing the excellent rock, southern rock and blues to historic North Front Street, July 21.
The holidays may be over but, that doesn’t mean you can’t still celebrate like it's New Year's Eve. Which brings me to this: The Front street WinterFest is planning to take you on an adventure from Gilbert Cellars to 5 North and over to Anotlin and the Carousel for incredible live music and delicious food. It all takes place Jan. 16 from 7-11 p.m. on historic Front Street in downtown Yakima. Eight
