Taylor kicks off world tour

Taylor Swift fans around the world are on cloud nine today as Taylor kicks off her Speak Now tour in Singapore. Tonight will be the first night fans get to see her latest songs come to life in concert. As the sole writer of every song on her multi-platinum Speak Now album, Taylor has been envisioning these songs live since creating them. (Audio) “I get these, uh, ideas in my head for what it would look like if I was performing on award show and what it would look like if I was performing this in concert. And that’s just kind of how my mind works. When I write a song it just… my mind goes everywhere.” Taylor will be on a European tour for several months visiting cities such as Paris, Madrid, Hong Kong and Dublin. She’ll take the month of April off and start her Speak Now tour in the U-S May 27th in Omaha, Nebraska.
