The Habit is a great burger joint on the west side of Washington state. There isn't an open location in eastern Washington, yet, but that may soon change.

For record, it was not officially announced nor do I have privileged information. But not too long ago I did get some info from Hogback about a new restaurant coming to the 'hard corner' of 24th and Nob Hill. Those clues were:

  • It's considered 'quick service restaurant' (QSR) meaning you can dine in or get it to go. Not quite fast food but exactly casual dining.
  • It's a restaurant that may be a familiar name to those who frequent the east side of the state.
  • It's a first for eastern Washington
  • It's not Chick-fil-A
  • Combine those clues with this recent post by Hogback Development and all signs are pointing to being The Habit Burger Grill. This place burgers, sandwiches fresh salads, awesome shakes and malts and even has tempura green beans on the menu. Not sure if that's all locations or just the one I went to.

We'll give you an official word once it's been made official.
