Tragedy In Pullman: WSU Quarterback Commits Suicide
This is a sad day for Cougs across the state as news of a student athlete committing suicide has come out of Pullman.
Washington State University quarterback Tyler Hilinski has been found dead.
Authorities are treating the death as a suicide.
Pullman Police say around 4:30 pm Tuesday, officers were sent to Hilinski's apartment to do a welfare check when he didn't show up for football practice.
Hilinksi, who was 21 years old, was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
