My friend Angel informed me of a pretty sweet app she enjoys if you want to know what's going on in your neighborhood, community, and beyond! It's called Nextdoor.

It's free to download, you enter your location and you can find out all the drama, free items being left out for you to grab, garage sales and so much more!

My first time on I was laughing because there were some neighbors a few blocks over who were and still are dealing with, "hellions." Children that were climbing over their fence into their backyard and making noise at all hours of the day and night! One of the comments was from a nearby witch who was talking about how to get rid of energy you don't want in your yard! I knew at that moment, this app was going to be a go-to when I needed a break from work and boredom.

The app is super cool too because you can add yourself to like-minded discussions like crafting, making your own beer, garden sharing, stay-at-home parenting and so much more. The last time I went on I noticed another feature, a flipping Treat Map!

Wherever you are located you can go into the Treat Map section and it will show you every single spot that has been inputted for trick or treating and also haunted houses. I was blown away with how many places there are so if you're searching for the GOOD candy and all the spots to snag it, the Nextdoor app is a great spot to check out!
