Two Words: Thank You!

The results of the annual Yakima Herald-Republic readers choice awards were recently announced at a ceremony at the 4th Street Theater in Yakima.

From local Yakima restaurants to salons to coffee shops, the winners of numerous categories were announced. The winner of the "best radio personality" category went to US. How awesome is that? Honestly, I didn't think we'd get it. We were up against some incredible competition. Dave Ettl on 1280 KIT and Todd Lyons on 94.5 KATS. Those guys have both won it in the past and I respect the heck out of them. They are amazing individuals and are loved very much in this community.

Cheyenne and I are sincerely thankful to each and every one of you who voted. We enjoy doing what we do and we really appreciate that you took the time to cast a vote for us.

It’s already an exciting #bluefriday, but what makes this day even better is having this award in hand. Many folks cringe whenever I mention the fact that my alarm goes off at 2:15am, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love what I do and I love that I get to work everyday with that lovely lady on my left. It really isn’t “work” when you’re having fun every single day. Thanks to everyone who voted for us!
