Saturday, April 2 is the day when the Central Washington Agricultural Museum in Union Gap will be celebrating a grand 're-opening'. Museum officials say technically the museum remains open all year round, but due to winter weather considerations many of the exhibits are closed until spring. It's spring so it's time to celebrate.

Don't forget your smart phone to be able to take the audio tour

Museum officials say this April the museum is introducing an audio tour that covers 33 different stations on the museum's more than 15 acre grounds.
Plus, work is underway on the Young's Cabin which has captured the attention of many in the agricultural industry. If you attend don't forget your smart phone so you can take advantage of the audio tour.
Museum officials say Audio Tour cards will now be available for a donation during museum open hours in the Visitor’s Center (one free per family during the grand re-opening). The tour can be accessed from your phone even after you’ve left the museum, or the next time you visit (keep your card, it's reusable and specific to the phone it was used on). They say that will be a beneficial feature for field trips, home school visits and anyone that wants to view the tour again later.

The event is free and is set for the first weekend in April

The Grand Re-opening on April 2 is FREE and will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Central Washington Agricultural Museum is located at 4508 Mainstreet in Union Gap.
