Washington State Ranks in Top 10 for Least Student Debt

Our friends at WalletHub did the research, crunched the numbers and, as it turns out, Washington State is one of the states with the least amount of student debt. Which one do you think is last? We'll find out right quick.

The state with the most amount of student debt is Pennsylvania. Go Penn State, I guess.
A few things were tracked to come up with this list including Student-Loan Indebtedness (I think that's a real word). When you combine that with Grant and Student Work Opportunities you have this list.
Washington State also ranked favorable with a few other stats including these.
Washington was also 46th for percentage of student loans past due or in default.
Washington was 45th in student debt as a percentage of income.
Washington was 42nd in proportion of students with debt.
It's true, believe it or not there are students without debt. It can happen!
