If you find yourself in Wenatchee on the corner of 5th and Western, you'll find a little collection of shops. There's an Abby's Pizza, a locally owned and operated diner, a friendly neighborhood barber, a sporting goods store and they even have a games store and comic book shop.

The lucky ticket was from the Washington Lottery Lucky Times 50 scratch ticket.

Only three of more than 1.85 million tickets carried this top prize. As it turns out, one of them was found in Wenatchee at Western Market. This non-assuming little convenient store on 5th and Western that's not even on the main road in Wenatchee.

This winning ticket was validated and claimed on December 15, 2025.

Not only did Jeffery B. win the $2 million prize but the place where he bought the ticket, in this case it's Western Market, also gets a nice commission for being the location the ticket was sold.

Where money goes from the Washington Lottery

Even if you don't win, know that proceeds from lottery sales go to help different causes as well in Washington State. These include local college and schools support, King County stadium and exhibition center, Washington Opportunity Pathways Account (WOPA) as well as support for those with gambling addiction.
