Going out to eat is one of my favorite things to do. Sure, I love to cook at home, too, but sometimes I just love to see what else is out there in Yakima. And, best of all, I'm not doing the dishes afterwards. That's always a win for me.

Though the entrees are, often, the reason most go out to eat, I'm so much of a 'finger-foods' type of guy. I just want something to snack on while enjoying a pint of a local craft ale most of the time.

One dish I come back to pretty often are these Hawaiian Lettuce Wraps. Why? For every reason!

Now, the negative up front, they are messy. Usually I don't like to get my hands too messy as it may make my drink more slipery, but that's the price I pay for enjoying these delectable lettuce wraps.

What makes them Hawaiian?

Well, probably the pineapple, but I'm all for. These Hawaiian Lettuce Wraps are grilled chicken and pineapple along with carrots, red bell peppers, wonton strips and a ginger ponzu sauce in these butter leaf lettuce leaves.

They're just about perfect and light enough so you don't feel bogged down after finishing these.

Where can you get these?

I found these specific ones, and the ones I took a photo of, at The Pub in Glenwood Square on Tieton. You'll find them downstairs. They have several items on their menu I just love so there's always plenty of reason for me to return.

Next time you don't know where to go or what to order, consider The Pub and grab these Hawaiian Lettuce Wraps along with whatever else you may wanna order. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, really.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
