Growing up I had always heard sayings from my Grandma and Grandpa and my Dad. These are saying that you swore you'd never say or use...well, at least that's what you thought. Here are just a few of these pearls from the past.

"Cuter than a bug’s ear"
"Geez, Louise"
“Let’s play it by ear!”
"For the love of Pete"
“Keep your powder dry”
“Don’t bite the hand that feeds you”
“Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched”

These are just a few old sayings I'm used to hearing. What are some sayings that your family uses?
