Win Fresh Hop Ale Festival Passes All Week!

The Fresh Hop Ale Festival is just around the corner! It's Saturday, Oct. 5, at its new location in Yakima, 5 W. Yakima Ave. This is the big parking lot on the west side of the train tracks from where Downtown Summer Nights is staged.

So what is the Fresh Hop Ale Festival? According to their website; "Voted one of the top ten beer festivals in the nation, the Fresh Hop Ale Festival is the celebration of Yakima Valley hops and the craft beer industry. The Fresh Hop Group is committed to providing grants to benefit Yakima county based arts and science organizations."

So not only is it a great festival to taste beer from breweries all across the state, it's also to help a great cause. In 2018, this festival has given $101,464 in grants to "... over 20 Yakima County-based arts and science, nonprofit organizations for 2018," according to their website.
