The theme for Thursday's (June 8) annual Yakama Nation Treaty Days Parade was "Water is Life," and Mother Nature got the memo. There was rain, but that didn't stop people from enjoying the parade. After the parade, set up at the Cultural Center to celebrate the Cultural Center's 37th anniversary. The gathering included fun activities for the whole family -- from a salmon bake lunch to a free movie at the theater.

It all kicked off the Commemoration of the Treaty of 1855 with the Yakama Nation.
