Yakima’s Coldest Days are Behind Us with Warmer Weather in the Future
We've been in this transitional time where some days may be warmer than others and sometimes you might find frost on your windshield or your lawn. Though we still may have a couple of frosty mornings between now and whenever, looking at the weather forecast in the future, we're going to be on the slow rise through the 50s and even into the 60s in a couple weeks.
Looking at mostly sunny days with highs only in the upper 40s until Friday and this weekend where we'll see official temperatures in the 50s.
And the temps will keep on the rise from there as well.
Like how this week it starts in the 40s and goes to the 50s, next week will start in the 50s and hit the 60s by the weekends in the middle of March.
from Weather.com:
I wouldn't recommend it for everyone but I have retired my winter coat for the season though I still have a couple of jackets and sweaters handy as a 'just in case' as later at night it'll still get pretty brisk. I'm not quite in shorts, yet, but my spring wardrobe is easily accessible as needed, if needed.
It's also now showing any rain or anything for the next couple of weeks but as with anything, anything can happen with the weather patterns at a moment's notice. Be prepared but we do have some nicer days upon us sooner than later. I'm looking forward to it.
