I'm Yakima, born and bred. Although Yakima has the freshest produce and all the wineries and restaurants when I was growing up, one thing it lacked with places to let our geek flag fly. There were a few along the way like Unicorn Castle and even the arcades like Jolly Joker and Mean Machine. And, of course, we've always had Ron's Coin and Book (though I think they go by Ron's Coin and Collectibles now) so when a new business pops up in Yakima that has anything to do with comics, anime, games or anything of that nature, it's always worth promoting to our Yakima peeps who are into stuff like that; myself included.

A co-worker clued me into a new place in town called Cosmic Collectibles. They're promoting that they have Pokemon cards, anime figures, some sports memorabilia and things of that nature. Well, I knew I had to check it out!

Where is Cosmic Collectibles?

You'll find Cosmic Collectibles on 20th and Englewood. It's kinda tucked away so blink and you'll drive right past them. The easiest way I found them was to turn north on 20th off of Lincoln, driving past Wandering Hop. You'll find them right on the corner of 20th and Englewood.

They had someone selling lemonade in front of the door as you walk in as part of their grand opening. I just love stuff like that. Makes it feel even more local.

Taking my first steps inside the store I was almost overwhelmed with how much awesome stuff they had! So many figures and figurines, they had Attack on Titan playing on the TV, I saw all these collectible cards everywhere and even had a second room that had room to play Pokemon. A great place for tournaments or just to play. I'm sure they'll be setting up something in the future.

Photos speak louder than anything I can type in. If this is your thing, definitely check them out in person. Here's a bunch of photos I took to give you a tease of what to look forward to.

Speaking to the owner, he has an entire warehouse full of more collectibles so it doesn't sound like they lack inventory. That'll give me reason to keep going back to see what else they have in the future.
