Yakima has no shortage of Mexican restaurants. Everything from authentic Mexican food to, well, 'Taco Bell', there's something for everyone. Even restaurants that cater to the cuisine of a specific region of Mexico, it's that specific.

Just out of curiosity I was looking up what Yelp thought the best Mexican restaurants are in Yakima, specifically. I was expecting more of the Americanized Mexican restaurants (that I also love) but take a look at their list and see if you agree or disagree. I know a few of my favorite places didn't make the list but there were spots I've also never tried that gives me a reason to check them out.

There also may be a restaurant or two on this list that I'm not sure I would consider Mexican cuisine as they may be an American-style diner that happens to have a chorizo breakfast burrito on the menu, but I'm just showcasing the list as Yelp has it listed.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
