YVCC to Host Engineering Day for Kids

Yakima Valley Community College's engineering department, in partnership with the Yakima branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers, will host "Engineering Day for Kids" this Saturday (Feb. 21) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hopf Union Building.

Engineer’s Week is held every year to promote the many aspects of engineering to the youth in each community.

Activities are geared toward helping children explore the connections between math, science and engineering.

Admission is free.
