I have shopped and eaten in many places in the Yakima Valley. There is always something different to see. Whether it has been in a store or a restaurant, there is always something cool. My most recent find was in the Peppermint Stick in Union Gap.
I have never really struggled with my weight. My entire life, I have always been the 'really skinny girl.' To the point where I didn't even have a figure. That has changed since I have gotten older. But, until about 5 years ago, I was happy with my figure. Now, It is getting a little out of hand. However, there isn't one thing I love that I would give up just to never gain a pound again.
Stuck in traffic is never good. Be stuck because of an accident is even worse yet. The accident that happened on the freeway near Seattle wasn't a good scene. Road crew had to close down I-5 for nearly 8 hours to contain the oil tanker spill that had turned over. But, a fantastic Taco Truck came to the rescue!
I know it is a sad reality but, everyone is going to die. I personally want to live longer than some of my family has. My mom died when she was 64 form terminal bone cancer and my father died from heart failure when he was 54. Neither one of the smoke or drank at all. They both were to young to die.
There is a doll out on the market now, that has a microchip in it. The doll is interactive and is supposed to be fun for the kids. Instead, someone can hack into the doll just like the do a regular computer. That is crazy!
We had a blast at the fish races at the Central Washington Sportsman's show on Saturday! Our kiddo winners from Townsquare Media radio stations thought the whole thing was so fascinating! Bi-mart gave me a $300 gift card to go get prizes for the kids. Fishing poles, tackle boxes and Bi-mart gift cards. Every kid left with a prize!
Saturday's drawing for our "NASCAR Weekend Blastoff" contest drew a crowd at Brumback Law Group's offices in Union Gap, but Marsha Lance made her way through the other qualifiers to claim the checkered flag...
The Yakima Valley has seen a lot of snow this winter. The roads have been crazy in town and on the highways. Schools have had endless snow days and it has been a challenge for most of us to get to work...
A Russian tattoo artist reached out on social media saying she would cover abuse scars with free butterfly tattoos! The response was overwhelming, and Yevgeniya Zakhar soon had to limit appointments to once a week because so many people came to her.
