My son Mathew - along with countless other high schoolers graduate this June.
What advice would you give the class of 2015?
Not that they would actually listen, because I remember being 18 with the world at my feet thinking how lame some older folks were. In some ways I wish I would have listened. Now I'm the "older" one sharing advice with my son and his friends.
After finding an old love letter that Cefus had received as a teenager, I decided to search through my hope chest for some of my old correspondence.
I had completely forgotten about the letters I wrote to servicemen in Desert Storm!
The letters were in a bundle tied with a yellow ribbon given to me by one of the troops. Some had included American propaganda fliers (which were being dropped on the enemy at that time) inside their letters.
The Morning Bull Pen stumbled across break-up songs that you would play over and over and OVER!
Mine would be Stevie B's "Because I Love You" -- also known as the "Postman" song. It was played on our sister station 107.3 KFFM and at the time music was on carts. I still know what the cart number was for that song: Cart No. 93.
