Cam joined folk-rocker Melissa Etheridge onstage Monday night (March 20) for a rocking rendition of Etheridge's 1994 hit "Come to My Window." The performance was part of a female-focused episode of Skyville Live, a recurring live-streamed concert series.

Prior to their performance, Etheridge introduced Cam to the crowd by saying, "I will be bringing up an incredible, incredible voice today in country music. She agreed to come in and sing this song with me and it just really thrilled me."

Once onstage, Etheridge shared a story of her and Cam's rehearsal that day: "We were rehearsing today. ... I said, 'Cam, I've never sung this song with anyone,' and what did you say?" she asked.

"I said, 'Excuse me, Miss Etheridge, you have sung it, with Miss Dolly Parton,'" Cam replied, to a roar of laughter from the crowd.

Etheridge finished the talking segment by playfully stating, "I don't know how I didn't remember singing with Dolly Parton," telling Cam that she's amazing. Etheridge performed "Come to My Window" with Parton for an episode of CMT Crossroads 14 years ago in 2003, so the memory lapse is forgivable.

Together, Cam and Etheridge sang the Grammy-winning song from Etheridge's fourth studio album, Yes I Am. Citing Etheridge as one of her music idols, Cam is her usual smiling self in the captured video, and the duet is filled with mutual onstage admiration.

For Women’s History Month, Skyville Live's Monday night concert series brought together some of the music industry’s groundbreaking female acts to perform together. In addition to Etheridge and Cam, Lindsay Ell, Orianthi and Troi Irons all took the stage during the concert series.

Besides working on her sophomore album, Cam is also preparing to open for George Strait during his Las Vegas residency and recently spoke at a TEDx conference in Reno, Nev., about the power of music.
