A friend of mine had a copy of the new rolling stone magazine with Johnny Deep on the cover in full Lone Ranger movie gear. Inside the magazine was this ad for a new late night Fox TV show. Let me first say that I understand what adult humor is and that I know there are cartoons geared toward adults. This appears to be one of them. I also know that High School kids are involved in experimental and unsafe activities including sex, drugs, etc.

But this ad doesn't make any sense to me or anyone I showed it to. It shows a student popping pills and says above it "A new animated comedy about regular kids doing regular things." So tell me how overdosing on pills is regular kids doing regular things? Adult show or not, do they really need to promote this image to the world in a magazine ad?
