A new study suggests that if you take at least a 45-minute nap every day, you could improve your memory. Neurobiology of Learning and Memory conducted the study, which found that power napping improved memory by as much as five-fold!

They used a graduate student who taught other students 90 words and 120 unrelated word pairs. There were 40 students. After she was done, she asked half to take a nap.

An hour later, she asked all students to relay back to her what they had learned. The students that took the power nap had much better success with relating the words back.

I would love to talk our boss into taking a quick power nap during the day. The entire country of Spain does it, and it seems to work for them. Run it by your boss and let me know if it worked. A power nap and a massage every day? I am in.

Meanwhile, I am going to take a nap! ‘Night!
