Michael Ray Hits His Stride Just in Time for Watershed

Country newcomer Michael Ray has arrived just in time for Watershed Festival and his video for "Kiss You in the Morning" is making noise online. Ray even kisses a sweet little old lady at the end of the video -- his lovely grandma.

I bet she's proud of her grandson for living his dream. When he plays the sold-out Watershed Festival this summer at the Gorge Amphitheatre, he'll be performing for nearly 30,000 people.

Though we're just getting to know him, Ray's been around awhile. Before "Kiss You in the Morning" charted on Country Airplay, he worked with John Rich of Big & Rich on the singing competition "The Next Fame Is at Your Doorstep." And he and Rich co-wrote the 2015 Big & Rich single, "Run Away with You."
