New Seahawks Gear? Football’s Regular Season is Almost Here

For you true Seahawks fans, did you ever imagine a day when you would find Seahawks Super Bowl gear on clearance? I remember losing to the Miami Dolphins in the 1999 AFC playoff wild card game, then seeing the Hawks finally make it to the Super Bowl in 2005 -- only to suffer a painful loss to the Steelers in a poorly officiated game. Seattle finally won the Big Game last year, but in a big way it's still hard to imagine Hawks Super Bowl gear on the clearance rack.

To my surprise that day came this weekend. The hats the players wore when they won the Super Bowl were reduced to $9.99 at Just Sports inside the Valley Mall. Shirts that feature the entire roster and dri-fit workout tees were on sale, too. In fact there are a ton of sales going on now and it's hard for me to fathom. Now is definitely time to stock up ahead of the season and don some new blue and green for our reigning world champions.

The team has one preseason game left -- against Oakland -- until they kick off their regular season at Century Link versus the the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Sept. 4. Go Hawks!
