We're only days from the hotly-anticipated 'True Blood' season 6 premiere on HBO, and yet the guest list continues to grow. The latest to join (or, in this case, return to) the fang-banging horror drama's sixth season is season 4 star Courtney Ford, but what would the characters need with a lawyer when humanity declares war on vampires?

TVGuide first revealed the return, adding that Ford would reprise her role as attorney (and Bill's semi-incestuous great-great-great-great granddaughter) Portia Bellefleur in the seventh episode of the season, having last been seen glamored into staying away from Bill in season 4. "After watching the Season 5 finale, which was pretty intense and crazy, things are getting a little heated in Bon Temps and it stands to reason that someone is going to need a lawyer," Ford told the website.

Ford join the 'True Blood' season 6 guest cast of returning ‘Last Resort’ star Robert Patrick, Anna Camp‘s Sarah Newlin, Luke Grimes as the “Jim Morrison of vampires,” ‘Rubicon’ star Arliss Howard as the sinister Governor Truman Burrell, Rutger Hauer as the mysterious Niall Brigant, ‘House‘’s Karolina Wydra and ‘Eastenders’ star Robert Kazinsky as a series regular and new Fae love interest to Sookie.

Premiering this Sunday, June 16, True Blood’ season 6 will take place over 10 episodes, down from the usual 12, largely to accommodate series star Anna Paquin’s pregnancy with co-star Stephen Moyer.
