Yakima TARGET Is Remodeling. Here’s What’s Happening…

A couple of weeks ago we reported on the start of the Yakima Target Store remodel.  We knew they were adding groceries, but to what extent?   Now we know!  We submitted our request to the Target Corporate Offices in Minneapolis Minnesota and here is their response:

"The Yakima, WA Target store located at 12 North Fair Avenue is receiving our Expanded Fresh Food Layout remodel with a completion date in late June.

The Expanded Fresh Food layout involves a remodel of our general merchandise Target store that provides our guests with new food additions including items that top their weekly grocery shopping lists such as limited assortments of fresh produce, fresh meat and pre-packaged baked goods.

The expanded fresh food layout was created in response to feedback from our guests who requested more fresh food selection in the convenience of their local Target store. In addition to adding grocery, as part of the remodels, we will also be refreshing our beauty, home, shoe and baby departments. "
