It is something to see just how much the Yakima Valley has changed since 2007. Thankfully, we have Google Maps images to show us the proof.
I was born and raised in Nashville, Tenn., and the last time I went back home to visit, I didn't even recognize the neighborhoods where I grew up. They've gentrified everything and made it all "hipster", except that when I grew up in those streets, we were considered living in "the ghetto'. They've renamed the neighborhoods with some fancy so-called sophisticated new name, but it's still East Nashville to me!
The Street I Grew Up on Has Changed So Much Since 2007
I am sure that someone who grew up in Yakima and left over 15 years ago will come back and go, "Wow, Yakima Valley has finally changed a bit since I lived here!"
