A Fan-Favorite, Daily Deals in Yakima “Closed Until Further Notice”
Welp! It was fun while it lasted.
Daily Deals was a hidden gem of a store in Yakima for several months. We saw them go from this little place to being so popular they had to change locations, to moving back into the old location due to drama, to opening a new store in Sunnyside to opening, yet, another store in Tri-Cities. Now, it's unfortunate news to announced that they have announced they're closing the Yakima store.
Yakima location will remain closed until further notice, sorry for the inconvenience.

This news comes just days after they announced their Tri-Cities location.
There's no official word on why they're doing this. Not sure if it's to allocate their resources to their other locations or if they've been trying to break away from Yakima in a favorite of other cities, I'm not exactly sure. Speculate all you want, it's a sad day for the valley when we lose this amazing store. I've personally found some great deals here on items I still use daily.
They also said, in their announcement, "...until further notice." So you're saying there a chance? Maybe if the other stores do amazing in the meantime or there's another location they can move into in Yakima that won't cause the surrounding businesses to fuss about all of their foot traffic and popularity that we can have them back in Yakima.
Here's hoping.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

Using March 2019 data from the Social Security Administration, Stacker compiled a list of the most popular names in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C., according to their 2018 SSA rankings. The top five boy names and top five girl names are listed for each state, as well as the number of babies born in 2018 with that name. Historically common names like Michael only made the top five in three states, while the less common name Harper ranks in the top five for 22 states.
