As firefighters in Central Washington continue the battle on the ground against the Range 12 Fire, many are also fighting the fire from the air and monitoring the situation.

That's the case for Sgt. Cameron M. Jackson, a flight medic for the U.S. Army in Yakima. He grabbed these pictures of the fire this morning while flying over parts of the Range 12 Fire, which is now more than 70,000 acres in size and moving toward the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.
