October is Breast Cancer awareness month and I have two pairs of tickets to a fundraiser that is a MUST-go-to! The Pastime in Selah is having their fourth annual Bands for Boobies this Saturday (Oct. 13). So what's so great about this event, you might be asking? Well, I am going to tell you. First and foremost, The Pastime is giving 100 percent of its profits to Ohana's Mammography Department. This is a fund that helps those who do not have insurance and need mammograms to get checked. Next, they are having a rock star lineup of live music:

  • Bart Roderick
  • The Relics
  • Tempest
  • The Danny Austin Band
  • Buckin' A Band

How can you not be excited? Donating to a cause that -- unfortunately -- has probably affected every person in some way shape or form, and enjoying good music. How can you not be excited?

Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday, and music starts at 7:30. You can purchase tickets in advance for $10 or pay the $10 cover at the door! OR! Listen to Gunner and myself tomorrow morning for a chance to win tickets!!

Come hang out with Gunner and myself and support Bands for Boobies!!

This post is dedicated to my dear friend Kyann L., who courageously took breast cancer head on and beat it!
