Become a Flagger, Earn Up to $30 an Hour — YVC Course Starts March 23

Yakima Valley College is offering a class to become a certified construction site flagger.

Flaggers can make about $15 an hour entry level to $30 an hour, depending on experience -- and many companies may offer benefits.

The class will teach people about the jobs of a flagger, roles and responsibilities and safety practices.

The tuition fee of $45 includes a flagger handbook, classroom instruction and the opportunity to take the Washington state certification exam.

The next class will be March 23 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
