Butter Beer Dirty Soda Could Be What you Need at Coffee City in Yakima
Located on the corner of 48th and Nob Hill is Coffee City. It's a popular little spot for people making their way to work, school, or where ever their morning drive takes them.
Since it's kind of near the schools sometimes we'll swing through if I'm dropping my kid off to school for a special Friday treat. For them, it's often a Red Bull concoction. Preferably with orange juice. Orange juice is good for you, right?
Their typical order is a 'surprise' 32oz Red Bull meaning the baristas can whip up whatever they want. Whatever flavor they wish others would try or often times it's something seasonal. No matter what they come up with, it's a winner every time.
I typically don't order anything for myself as my poor heart can't handle energy drinks and I don't usually drink coffee.
Though, this time after we place our order, I'm just casually reading the fall menu and saw they had a butter beer dirty soda. Soda, well, soda is one thing I can have.
A dirty soda is basically a soda mixed with other ingredients. It could be cream or flavors or anything like that.
This Butter Beer Dirty Soda was a mix of butterscotch, root beer, cream... and they had something else, I don't quite remember what it was but I'm sure there was a 4th ingredient.
I'm a fan of Harry Potter so figured I'd grab one just for fun. Though it's not quite a 'butter beer' like you'd find at Hogsmeade but it was great.
It's what I love about these stands around Yakima is though they may be known for coffee as that was the it thing for so many years, many of these places also include Red Bull drinks and these dirty sodas so even if you can't have caffeine they may have something just for you.
I grabbed this one specifically at Coffee City on 48th and Nob Hill.
