The nurse did call 911 and ask for help and the dispatcher on the call was pleading with the nurse to help the woman by giving her cpr. The nurse refused, when asked by the dispatcher if anyone would help her she replied with this...

"Is there anybody that's willing to help this lady and not let her die," the dispatcher says

"Not at this time," replied the nurse, who didn't give her full name and said facility policy prevented her from giving the woman medical help.

I'm just blown away by the fact this woman will follow a flawed company policy and let someone die right in front of them with the ability to help.  It's plain as day that anyone on the street would help this woman and you have to know in your gut the difference between right and wrong. I hate the line "I was just following company policy" when it comes to life and death. Any company that would let someone die because they don't allow their employes to help is a company I want nothing to do with. Unreal!
