Washington State Ranks in Top 10 for Highest Credit Card Debt
According to recent reports, Americans are now 1.1 trillion dollars in debt.

As much as it totally was, many people are in a lot of trouble, making it harder to make ends meet as they pay the minimum making it harder to climb out of credit card debt.
And with gas prices being the worst in Washington State right now, it makes it even worse.
WalletHub discovered to our disbenefit that Washington State ranks in the top 10 for worst credit card debt.
When it comes to highest credit card debt, Washington State comes in 6th place. The average is just under $3,000. Hopefully you fall under that number, if you have any debt at all. And if you don't, that's awesome for you.
So many have much more in the 5 digits. It's rough, it really is. This amount is also based on the average income for Washington State which is $63,000 a year. They say, if you have $2,911 in debt it'll take about 14 months to pay off. That's including the $366 interest until its paid off.

Worst for debt is Alaksa, believe it or not. Must be racking up those bills from those cold months.
The place with the least amount of debt is West Virginia. Must be nice living on those country roads.
