Do You Decorate Something Other Than A Tree For Christmas?

I have friends who have lived near the beach on the East Coast, and both have decorated a small palm tree inside their house for Christmas rather than a Christmas tree. Our afternoon guy, Rik Mikals, and his wife have a decorated ladder rather than a tree!  I thought it was a great idea! It's different. Do you or someone you know decorate something other than a tree as the "Christmas Tree?"
