Apple's new streaming service, Apple TV+, just launched on Nov. 1. Since I'd just purchased a new Apple device (iPhone 11 Pro), I was given a one-year free trial to the new streaming service. After that, it's only $4.99 a month, which really isn't too bad.

Apple is offering a seven-day free trial to anyone right now to check out Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ is just one of several new streaming services set to launch. Disney+ will launch on Nov. 12, and NBC's streaming service, called Peacock TV, will launch in 2020.

I was able to access Apple TV+ on my Roku TV. I downloaded the app and poked around on it last night, and I do like what I see! You can catch up on prime-time TV, watch movies and also watch Apple TV+ originals like "See" starring Jason Mamoa, and "The Morning Show" starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon.

I did watch the first episode of "The Morning Show" last night. It's about a news anchor, played by Steve Carell, who falls from grace after being accused of having affairs with females in the company. Jennifer Aniston plays his longtime co-host/work wife.
