Hidden Gems Revealed: A Gargantuan Taco Tuesday Winner!

It's TACO TUESDAY all over the Yakima Valley and perhaps around the world. I'm curious where your go-to-taco places are in town. Food trucks? Restaurants? My back yard? One of my wife's specialties is grilling Carne Asada and poblano peppers and combining with a ton of other essentials from salsa, sauteed peppers and onions, sour cream, cheese, and then building fantastic creations stuffed inside tortilla shells!

One I'm highlighting today doesn't come from a Taco Truck or Restaurant or even my backyard. It comes from a GROCERY STORE DELI of all places!

Yep! Wray's Market Fresh IGA at the Chalet Place location - 56th & Summitview. This enormous soft taco is made FRESH, TO ORDER, right in front of you at the Deli Counter. Did you happen to notice the price? $3.49! It's big enough for two but I confess, I usually consume the entire thing myself.

This one is ground beef but they also offer chicken. I order mine stuffed with everything on it.

For the sake of comparison, this puts the sheer size of the taco into perspective. It's bigger than my bottled water!
