The heat wave coming to the Yakima Valley is sure to cause problems when it comes to keeping cool, especially if you don't have an air conditioner.

• One Styrofoam cooler -- $4
• Two air ducts -- $8
• One high-powered compact fan -- $10
• Ice -- 75 cents a bag
