If You Need a New Breakfast Idea, Consider Making a Waffle Board

I was looking at the menu of a restaurant in a hotel in Spokane when something attracted my attention. It was simply titled a Waffle Board. I do love waffles but always figure waffles are often smothered in butter and syrup or sometimes fresh fruit and berries and all that. This, however, gives you a few options.

In lieu of dumping everything on everything you have these waffles and the idea could be to dip them in various syrups or add extra toppings to whatever you may need.

I like this idea as sometimes I just want traditional butter and syrup but sometimes I also want like a berries and cream idea for my waffles. This way I get both and the ability to make more options out of my breakfast.

This particular one had the berries and whipped cream already on the waffles. It didn't bother me as there were also plenty of waffle real estate that was left untouched.

They also had extra toppings like sliced almonds and even shaved chocolate.

Each bite, something a little different. Sometimes that, yes, cost more than it should at a restaurant but you could make the same thing at home for a fraction of the cost.

Looking forward to making this some Sunday morning. My kids and I will love it.
