Well, we're fogged in here in Yakima with nothing to do. I guess things could be worse -- at least we're not enduring "Snowmageddon 2015" like the East Coast. But the question becomes, what do you do during bad winter weather?Step 1: Stock up on food and water ASAP. You do not want to be the person going to the store five times a week when the weather is bad. Plan ahead and make sure you have enough food and water to last the duration.

Step 2: Get caught up! Have you been putting something off for a while? Maybe you're like me and you need to finish your wedding invitation list. Now would be a good time to get that daunting task done.

Step 3: Find a new show. "Breaking Bad," "House of Cards," "State of Affairs" (sounds dirty, but it's not). All great shows you could start watching to occupy your time.

Step 4: Deep cleaning. You might think spring is the best time to deep clean, but why not give the house a once-over during the weather inversion? Mildew and mold can make themselves more prevalent in the moist wet weather conditions, especially with your indoor heat going. Clean those window seals and get a head start.

Step 5: Tea and a book. We spend way too much time in front of electronics this day and age. Days like these are perfect for finding a good book and your favorite tea and cuddling up by the fire.

What other suggestions do you have for a bad week of weather?
