As always, this is in NO WAY a paid advertisement for or against this brand of cookies. I purchased these from the store with my own money because they were, apparently, my wife's "jam," and I am reviewing them without compensation or promise of payment in any form.
TASTE TEST OF HOT COCOA-FLAVORED OREO COOKIES
When you break it down, an Oreo is a chocolate cookie with cream frosting, and hot cocoa is pretty much the same thing: chocolate and marshmallow (cream). So the tastes are already similar in thought, but when I bit into this cookie... and then the 2nd, third, and the rest of the sleeve, I realized a few things. One, I have a problem. Two, I don't really taste anything that screams hot cocoa. And third, these are some of the best-tasting Oreos I've ever had. I'm sad that they're limited-time!
A 2nd, 3rd & 4th OPINION OF HOT COCOA-FLAVORED OREO COOKIES
My wife had the same opinion of the cookies as I did. So much so that she told me to get rid of them and take them to work; otherwise, we'd eat them all at home. At work, several of my co-workers enjoyed the cookies, and all echoed the same thoughts. Many grabbed a few cookies "for the road" as they walked back to their desks.

I hate that Christmas/winter season items are hitting store shelves even before September has ended (read my rant on that here). But because I'm more a fan of chocolate than pumpkin, this seasonal treat is one that I'm all for! According to AllRecipes.com & Instagram, this flavor of Oreo initially dropped in 2017 and is just now making its triumphant return!
Like all things, taste is subjective. Make up your own mind on purchasing a pack or not, but I can honestly say I'm looking forward to my next cookie-buying adventure and trying them with milk. Or even a cup of hot chocolate!!! Chocolate-Inception! Tap the App and let us know your thoughts!
