I have a lot of love for Kohl's. I've popped in there several times when I needed something like a flannel shirt or even a suit on one specific location and they had exactly what I needed at low, low prices.

As time progresses we're seeing more and more stores close down all around us.

Unfortunately, Kohl's listed some of its locations that are planning on closing as well as soon as April of this year.

But what about Yakima's location? Or any locations near us in Washington State? Are any of those on the list?

Kohl's Closing 27 Stores Across the United States

Courtesy of Union Rayo, here are the 27 locations that are slated to close.

One in Alabama (Spanish Fort)
One in Arkansas (Little Rock)
Ten in California (Balboa, Encinitas, Fremont, Mountain View, Napa, Pleasanton, Sacramento, San Rafael, SLO, and Westchester)
One in Colorado (Aurora)
One in Georgia (Duluth)
One in Idaho (Boise)
Two in Illinois (Plainfield and West Dundee)
One in Massachusetts (Stoughton)
One in New Jersey (East Windsor)
Two in Ohio (Blue Ash and Cincinnati)
One in Oregon (Portland)
One in Pennsylvania (Pottstown)
One in Texas (Dallas)
One in Utah (Riverton)
and Two in Virginia (Herndon and Williamsburg)

Not only is Yakima safe but all Kohl's in Washington State are safe for now and hopefully a long, long time.

I feel bad about our friends in Portland, Oregon, but good news is that they can always visit us here in Yakima do get their Kohl's shopping done.
