Outskirts Brewing Co. Promises to Bring a Unique Brewery and Restaurant to Selah
For those that follow the local brewery scene and follow Selah developments in general, many have been looking forward to the birth of a new restaurant and brewery that calls Selah home.
Outskirts Brewing Co. has been in the works for a year and, coming this Monday, May 15, they'll be opening their doors to the public for the very first time.
The new place is looking fantastic!
Swing by Monday, May 15th for the grand opening if you can. Or shortly there-after. I'm sure the place will be pretty busy with so many supporting the new business in town. I haven't seen their menu just yet, but soon as I do I'll report back. I'm sure they have traditional favorites but I'm always on the hunt for something new and unique.
We'll see. In the meantime, stay up to day on their website and social networks for more updates.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

Using March 2019 data from the Social Security Administration, Stacker compiled a list of the most popular names in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C., according to their 2018 SSA rankings. The top five boy names and top five girl names are listed for each state, as well as the number of babies born in 2018 with that name. Historically common names like Michael only made the top five in three states, while the less common name Harper ranks in the top five for 22 states.
