Pumpkin Carving Contest Doesn’t Net A Win For 929 The Bull Morning Bullpen

It was our second year of competing in the Carve Out For Hunger Celebrity Pumpkin Carving Contest at the Selah Civic Center on October 22nd and it was our second straight lose. Tracy Dial, Tim Adams and the crew from KNDO thwarted us again. The good news is the contest was for a great cause and raised over 70,000 meals for Northwest Harvest and helps stock the shelves at the food bank.

It was a valiant attempt and I think I was ahead of my time as last year's "Trumpkin" might have won us the trophy this year. I already know Michele is plotting next year out but from my perspective, it was a wonderful event and we loved helping out Northwest Harvest.

The good news is that we compete in Celebrity Turkey Bowling next month at Grocery Outlet and I think this will be the chance to redeem ourselves and solidify a first place win...all in the name of charity ... right?
