Shocker: Seattle Is One of the Gloomiest Cities in America

I came across a new study that ranked the 50 biggest cities in the U.S. based on how gloomy they are. And by "gloomy," we're talking things like cloud cover, hours of daylight and rain.

No shock here -- Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue is ranked No. 1. Followed by Portland, Ore., and Buffalo, N.Y.

The least gloomy? Phoenix. Followed by Las Vegas and Riverside, Calif.

As gloomy as Seattle is during the winter months, it also has its beauty, which is unmatched, in my opinion. Check out Seattle on a blue-sky day, and you'll see what I mean.
