It is now 2017! A new year to get things started off right. I suppose I did. I got a lot done at my house that I normally do not have the time to do. Went to the radio station and did a few things and was on the air for awhile. When I got done, I went to Smitty's Log Cabin Café to get gas.

Sunday's (Nov. 6) bike run that kicked off the valley's Toys for Tots 2016 campaign at the Salvation Army was a complete success. We had so many bikes there! People even came in vehicles to make sure that the United States Marine Corps got toys for the kids.

Whoa! Christmas is already on the way! Which means our local Marines are already gearing up for the 100th year of Toys for Tots. We need to help by stocking them up with lots of brand-new toys for needy children in our area. Our first chance is at this weekend's annual bike run in Yakima.
