This Ace Hardware in Spokane Gave me ‘Country Store’ Vibes
I was in Spokane over the weekend and as I was driving down North Division (a long road that heads north and south that basically splits Spokane in half) we drove an Ace Hardware store, but this was a much larger store than I've seen from most other Ace Hardware stores. What really caught our eye was a few things. First of all, the size of the store as it looked like it took up two blocks worth of store. The sign that said they were the original general store which was kinda neat with its classic sign and lighting. There was also a sign that said they had a huge toy store inside. Well, that's reason enough for us so we decided to check it out and I'm glad we did.
Soon as we walked inside it totally gave me Country Store vibes. No, there wasn't a tic-tac-toe playing chicken nor was there the smell of wood shavings for pets but just the sheer size of the store inside. And when I saw they had stairs that lead to an upstairs area which is where the toy department was, along with camping supplies, it just gave me that feeling.
I snapped a few photos of what it was like inside the store without rhyme or reason. I didn't visit every department but it seemed like they had everything from fishing to fashion to kayaking to camping supplies and so much more.
